Problem Water
If It Looks or Smells Funny, It’s a Problem
Water issues are complex – you don’t have to face them alone. Our Water Specialists are the most experienced and reputable in our area, especially when it comes to treating complicated well water. With over a decade of familiarity with water in Central Illinois, as well as a Certified Master Water Specialist on staff with over 30 years of experience, we have full confidence in treating any concern you may have with your water.
Some contaminants are easily recognizable, such as hardness, iron, tannins, chlorine, hydrogen sulfide or methane gases, whereas others can be hidden. Many of these hidden contaminants can be health risks, such as arsenic, lead, PFAS including PFOS and PFOA, microbes, pharmaceuticals, and more. We offer a broad spectrum of high-quality, certified equipment and filters for these specialty contaminants. Whether you’ve noticed any of these contaminants, or whether you haven’t noticed a problem but you want to find out for sure, one of our Water Specialists can provide answers with a free in-home water analysis and professional third-party water tests, when needed. Problem Water Systems

Chemical Injection System
The chemical injection system is a whole home water treatment system that is effective in treating bacteria, iron, manganese, low pH, hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), and more. The components of the system are a Stenner Pump, 15 gallon solution tank, 40 gallon holding tank, and a ETF2300PF filter. Common chemical agents used in this process are liquid chlorine and hydrogen peroxide.
The steps in this process are:
- When water is drawn inside the home, the pump draws from the chemical solution tank and injects into the main water line.
- The chemical solution and raw water are blended in a holding tank. This contact time is an essential step.
- The water flows through the carbon or mixed media filter tank to remove the precipitated contaminant, as well as the chemical agent and its byproducts. The final result is purer water, free of the undesirable contaminant being treated.

Aeration and Chlorination System
The Sentry Open-Air System is a whole-home well water treatment solution designed for a wide variety of water issues such as extreme odors, gas, heavy iron, and bacterial contamination. It combines degasification, chlorination, and oxidation in a single system and can be configured to deliver consistent, city-like water pressure throughout the home.
Available in 10, 18, and 25 gallons per minute sizes, the system can be installed in parallel for higher flow demands. It’s typically paired with an EcoWater commercial filter to remove chlorine and provide final filtration for household use. For reduced maintenance and increased convenience, an optional backwashing filter, our ReVolution Package, can be added to keep the holding tank clean.
Built as a true “workhorse”, the Sentry treats large volumes of water per service cycle.

Ultraviolet Light Systems
The quality of water changes over time and can become contaminated with microorganisms. The premium residential UV system, VIQUA Arros™ is designed for a streamlined installation, giving you time for more. These systems inactivate heterotrophs, Escherichia coli (E. coli), and fecal coliform. Available in 9 GPM, 15 GPM, and 22 GPM.
Innovative chamber design, mounted controller, and high-output UV lamp technology form a compact unit for a installation that is clean and less complex.
The all-in-one design of the VIQUA Arros lamp unit is easier to maintain.
- Threaded plug enables quick, clean draining.
- Easy-to-navigate LCD touchscreen identifies replacement parts and dealer contact information.
Stream™ technology enables more accurate in-lamp usage measurement.
Filters

IRON FILTER (ETF2300AIV & ETF2300EIV)
Eliminate problem water for good. The ETF2300AIV is a chemical free system, with fresh air providing oxidation. Zeolite Media for Iron Removal & Washed Quartz Underbedding aids in dispersion of water throughout the media tank.

Tannin Filter
Clear up pesky yellow water EcoWater’s Tannin Reduction Filter. This 10” x 47” backwashing filter is filled with tannin-selective anion exchange resin and utilizes Wi-Fi enabled technology to send continuous and excessive water use, system error, low salt and service reminder alerts, and more.

Chlorine and Chloramine Filter (ETF2300ECCWS)
The ETF 2300ECCWS is a proven system for reducing chloramines, chlorine tastes, odors and sediment. Wi-Fi enabled technology sends continuous and excessive water use, system error and service reminder alerts, including a water-to-drain sensing alert notifying you when an excessive amount of water is going to drain.

CUSTOMIZABLE FILTER (ETF2300PF SERIES)

Pioneer FILTER
The ENPRESS E3-M® Filtration System is a cost-effective point-of-entry filtration solution for specific contaminant reduction, such as Lead, Cysts, PFAS/PFOA/PFOS, Arsenic, and more. This system is designed for applications that require more media or contact time than a standard cartridge filter.

Cartridge FILTERs
Cartridge filters are used for a wide range of applications including filtering nitrates, arsenic, and phosphate. They can serve as a standalone solution or as a pre or post filter for another system. Quality Water Solutions carries standard and larger capacity housings in both 10″ and 20″ lengths. These housings are typically customized to each individual application.
