CHEMICAL INJECTION SYSTEM
The chemical injection system is a whole home water treatment system that is effective in treating bacteria, iron, manganese, low pH, hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), and more. The components of the system are a Stenner Pump, 15 gallon solution tank, 40 gallon holding tank, and a ETF2300PF filter. Common chemical agents used in this process are liquid chlorine and hydrogen peroxide.
The steps in this process are:
- When water is drawn inside the home, the pump draws from the chemical solution tank and injects into the main water line.
- The chemical solution and raw water are blended in a holding tank. This contact time is an essential step.
- The water flows through the carbon or mixed media filter tank to remove the precipitated contaminant, as well as the chemical agent and its byproducts. The final result is purer water, free of the undesirable contaminant being treated
SENTRY I OPEN-AIR SYSTEM
The Sentry I Open-Air System is a whole home water treatment system that is designed to handle a wide variety of well water problems. It is principally used to treat extreme levels of odor, gas, heavy iron or unsafe water due to bacterial contamination. The all-in-one system utilizes a process of degasification, chlorination and oxidation. As an added benefit, the Sentry I Open-Air System can be configured to provide constant “City-like” water pressure in your home.
The Sentry I Open-Air System is available in three different sizes: 10 gallons per minute, 18 gallons per minute and 25 gallons per minute. If more than 25 gallons per minute are required, multiple systems can be installed in parallel. Typically, an EcoWater Systems commercial filter will be sized and placed behind this system to filter and de-chlorinate the water for use inside the home.
A true “Workhorse” the Sentry I Open-Air System can treat a great deal of water during a service cycle.
